SERIES OF INTERVIEWS KA BAND BAAJA BAARAT

It's been a while since I have last posted. I am certain that the passionate readers out there are starving with the ever longingness to read a quality blog. This one's for those fastidious folks. It is sufficient to feed your desire for now. Guys, I can imagine a sarcastic smirk appearing on your face. Right there, I can see it. Folks, the last couple of months has been one helluva experience for me. My name got changed. My salutation got changed. My bank account got depleted and left with only mini-statements to defend my fat spendings on my ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME wedding (is that why sane people marry only once AS later they turn insane)

Back then in the month of October I was the most relieved CAT aspirant.Thankfully, I had resigned from TCS and saved myself from guilt of taking fake medical leaves for the interest of preparing for CAT and other evenly tormenting entrance tests. It seemed I had all the time in the world to hit the books for my assessment tests and subsequently interview rounds. Little did I know what was in store for me that would spin around my schedule,my recently achieved peace in life, my entire life for that matter by 180 degree (out of phase). My parents and my boyfriend's parents decided to get us hitched(Yea, thats the word) in the month of FEB.

Me being the first one in my group to get married, I had none to get the bridal knowledge from. Depressing as it sounds, I made people around me equally depressed and respectively tortured them to think what to buy and once that's done , strain them to embark onto parade of search hunts for those saris/lehengas, gold-silver-diamond jewellary,chappals,make-up accessories, shopping bags, bindis, hair clips, perfumes, and most importantly sindoor.(Nevertheless, I am yet to buy marwari bangle chuda, My wrist being too small :( )

Earth slipped from under my feet and momentarily my brain stopped functioning as I came to know CET was on the following day of my D-Day (Here, D-Day doesnt refer CAT day) As perplexed as this blog sounds,I was equally flummoxed. I had no guts to even speak to my parents or my -in laws regarding altering of the wedding date as a lot of wedding arrangements were already made.

So here I was betrothed , jobless half-MBA student cum half-bride. Wrote exams every Sunday with anxiety & speculations. Some got cleared , some got screwed. Nevertheless, bridal shopping spree was on a full swing. I thought if earth could rotate bit slower, then I would get more hours in a day so as to calmly organise my wedding ceremony homework and fiercefully battle in the series of CAT-SNAP-JMET-NMAT.... wars. Hyped as it sounds,it was literal then. On Saturdays I would go for shopping with my Mom-in-law and take exams on following Sundays.Draping my wedding lehengas and wearing some XXX grams gold ,I would stand in front of mirror for hours blushing ,lost in my wedding thoughts. And I also had sleepless nights for the fear of 1 more year gap in my career if i dont make it to one of those league of prestigious colleges. (Yeah Yeah)

One fine (rather fortunate) day, while buying bangles in Buleshwar, Mumbai (XX mins distant from Chatrapti Shivaji Terminus), I came to know I scored 97.3%ile in CAT (I am still surprised and doubt IIM assessing measures. I was on cloud nine , celebrating by eating kulfi with my Mom and Dedhia Aunty (Nirav's Mom). Subsequently, SNAP and NMAT results also got out. Got calls from couple of Symbi colleges , SPJain, NMIMS, IMT Gaziabad.

Finally came the month of FEB, had sequence of interviews lined up for me with absolute no preparations apart from the deluge of scams in 2010. (Yeah I disrespectfully thank Suresh Kalmadi, Nira Radia, Ashok Chavan and Sharad Pawar for giving me sufficient content to showcase my current affairs knowledge)Following were the things yet to be shopped, prepared and learnt and I had only two digit days spare to accomplish them. 1. Shop the entire PUNE CENTRAL for my post-wedding wardrobe and cosmetics. . (Yeah you

remember it right, I had updated my Facebook status on that day ) 2. Pico my beautiful sarees 3. And Learning to wear one. ( Have not as yet) 4. Make parlour and mehendi-wali appointments on phone. (Man, I should have done first

hand research in this regard)

5. and PREPARE on Technical Front(C,C++, Data Structures, C# and Final Year Project) after

buying formal apparels ofcourse.

Meanwhile, with the courtesy of Suren, I shifted my entire Jasminium world packed into a tempo to THE new home (-in making). Thank you Suren, I owe you big time.

Phew, Finally the D -day came and next blog awaits to be published from my side. Guys be patient. This phase deserves couple of independant distinguished blogs.

Hold on, I forgot to convey my gratitude to Miss Teja Kulkarni , Miss Prajakta Joshi,Miss Shweta Patil,Miss Sayli Patil and Miss Arpita Das ,( I miss my MISS salutation), Mr Suren Saini, Mr Nirav Dedhia, M Krunal Bhange, Mr Anil G and Mr NINAD SAKHADEV. Had it not been for you guys, this apparent cyclone would have turned into Tsunami.
